Rowlett Chamber welcomes new member, Waste Management

The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Waste Management with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, August 29.

Assisting in cutting of the ribbon with City Manger, Lynda Humble are Public Sector Solutions Manager, Steve Kellar on left and  Area Vice President, Don Smith right.

Waste Management partners with their customers and communities to manage and reduce waste from collection to disposal while recovering valuable resources and creating clean, renewable energy.

They may be a large company with facilities that span the North American continent, but when it comes to delivering their services, they are still just a local business.

Waste Management customers are also their neighbors, associates, friends and family. The schools they serve are the same schools that teach their own children. The businesses they serve are the same businesses that serve them as customers. The hospitals, police departments, governments and civic organizations they serve are also the same ones that care for and protect the communities they live in, too.

For all these reasons, Waste Management have a personal interest in helping make those communities better places to work and live. It’s a responsibility they take to heart.
