September 18, 2012 – It’s that time again. The time when the air starts to cool, the leaves start to change and the Soroptimist International Club of Rockwall puts on the best shindig of the season!
That’s right, it’s Lassos & Lace time and it’s happening Saturday, October 6 at our very own Southern Junction!
Every year the Soroptimist Club has put on its annual event, WomenAid, with one goal in mind: to better the lives of women and children in our community and throughout the world.
This event helps to support the many causes and projects of the Soroptimist Club – including Eloise’s Closet, our local clothing store for women returning to the work place after life’s struggles; We Expect Respect, the teen dating and violence prevention program now available in all our local schools; STARS, a program that supports local retirees and senior citizens; and then list goes on and on.

The event includes dinner, music, dancing, live and silent auction – and of course the famous bull riding!
