Hawaiian Falls kicks off holidays with 25 days of Christmas Blessings

Nominate a deserving family to receive a fun day at one of five Hawaiian Falls waterparks in North Texas during the 2013 season

(December 15, 2012) Hawaiian Falls wants to brighten some deserving people’s holidays with a Christmas Blessing. Nominate an unsung hero who always puts other’s needs before their own. Or maybe there’s a special teacher or leader who has made an impact on your family.

Hawaiian Falls will choose 25 winners from each of its five Texas parks – 125 total – to receive a complimentary Family 4-Pak, including admission, food and drinks. Beginning December 1 and running through Christmas day, a different family will be chosen each day from each of the five waterparks to receive a Christmas Blessing…five winners per day for 25 days of Christmas Blessings.

“We started our ‘Blessings’ program in the summer of 2009,” said David Busch, Hawaiian Falls president. “Our goal was to bless families from each of our communities with a special day at the waterpark closest to them. Between our Summer Blessings and Christmas Blessings programs, we have touched nearly 2,000 families over the past four years. Each year we hear the most amazing stories from people nominating friends, family members and neighbors. Often, we hear even more incredible stories from the families who were blessed and how much being recognized meant to them. You can even remain anonymous if you don’t want the person or family to know who nominated them.”

All nominations must be received by midnight Sunday, December 25, 2012 to qualify. Sorry, only new nominations will be accepted. Nominated families from previous years are not eligible to win. Enter your Christmas Blessings nomination at hfalls.com/blessings

Winning nominations will receive a complimentary Family 4-Pak to be used anytime during the 2013 season. Prize includes four admission tickets, four combo meals and all day drinks. Winners will be notified by phone or email no later than January 15, 2013 and the names will be posted in an email broadcast and online at hfalls.com.

Hawaiian Falls operates waterparks in Garland, Mansfield, The Colony, Roanoke and Waco, Texas.
