(ROCKWALL-January 31, 2013) At the regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Rockwall, Past District Governor Bud McBrayer (2011-12) presented Rotary International’s Service Above Self Award to Past District Governor Tom Ryan.

This award is presented to only 150 Rotarians a year out of a membership of 1.2 million members.  The recipients of this award demonstrate selfless service to Rotary, their church, community, and family.

Governor Bud recognized Tom for his service to children through the Adoption Awareness Carnival, to youth through RYLA, his commitment to Rotary International Leadership Institute, to his community involvement and many other programs that Tom has committed to over time!
