ROCKWALL (November 30, 2013) As many of you may remember, Rockwall experienced some excitement back in the spring when the History Channel’s H2 production team came to Rockwall to research our unique system of subterranean rock walls for a future episode on their America Unearthed television series.

The Rockwall County Historical Foundation has just learned that the episode, titled “Great Wall of Texas,” will air on Saturday, December 14th,  9PM Central.  Tune in to find out from show host and forensic geologist, Scott Wolter, if the wall is man-made or a natural formation, a mystery that has gone unsolved since the discovery of the wall in the 1850’s.

If you miss it, or even if you don’t, RCHF will have an encore showing of the episode at their fundraiser “Dinner and a Movie” on January 19, 2014.  Come out and enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner followed by the show at Utley Middle School.  Tickets are $20 and reservations must be made in advance by calling the museum at 972-722-1507 or emailing .
