ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX (Feb 4, 2015) Russ Childers has announced that he has officially filed for re-election as member of the Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees’ Place 2.
In his announcement, Childers said, “My family and I have been active members of our community and I am excited to represent our values on the school board. This will be my third and final term as a member of the board. The election will be held this May, 2015. It has been an honor and privilege to serve the people of Rockwall, as well as the students and staff of RISD.”
He added, “We have an outstanding school district and I plan to stay focused on student success. We have faced many challenges and enjoyed many triumphs during my first two terms. I know with your continued support we can achieve more in the future.”
