(ROCKWALL, TX – May 31, 2016) The Rockwall Economic Development Corporation is pleased to announce that Col-Met celebrated the opening of their new manufacturing facility in Rockwall Technology Park with an enormous open house event. The three-day celebration, which took place April 20-22, 2016, marks the culmination of Col-Met’s November 2015 move into a 150,000-square-foot, high-tech facility to accommodate their ever-growing business.
Col-Met hosted industry partners, suppliers, local city officials and employees, providing Texas barbecue, music by Emerald City, raffle drawings and extensive plant tours that highlighted product capabilities and new innovations. A great time was had by all 300 in attendance.

Twenty years ago, our founder and CEO Eric Jones had a dream, and today we celebrate that dream in a 150,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that puts us in a position to support our aggressive growth plans.”

Col-Met’s new facility includes expanded, open-concept office space, state-of-the-art manufacturing space and a training room designed for enhanced distributor training, with the ability to add an additional 70,000 square feet for future growth.
