The Open Space Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the following goals: emphasize the importance of open space, encourage local governments to incorporate green space into growth, and provide assistance to cities on green space projects. The RCOSA are hosting this inaugural event to raise awareness of our new organization, raise and receive funds to support implementation of the Rockwall County Open Space Master Plan of 2015 and other projects as deemed worthy by the Board of Directors, and to cultivate donor relationships.
“We’re very excited about the future of our new nonprofit Open Space Alliance. It’s the next step in the process of involving everyone in our effort to Keep Green Space in our Growth. In addition to being a fun evening, citizens can show their support by attending our very first fundraiser,” said Nell Welborn, President, Rockwall County Open Space Alliance’s Board of Directors.
