1st Annual Philanthroparty comes to Rockwall on North Texas Giving Day

(ROCKWALL, TX — Sept. 6, 2017) Come out to Rockwall’s 1st Annual Philanthroparty and learn about the local nonprofits participating in North Texas Giving Day on Thursday, Sept. 14. Over 20 area nonprofits will have booths set up with fun activities for all at the San Jacinto Plaza on the downtown square from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Each booth will have information and materials about their nonprofit, as well as an interactive game/activity such as a scavenger hunt around the Rockwall downtown square, face painting, giant-size Connect 4 and Yahtzee, and award-winning robots of the Rockwall High School Robotics program, Full Metal Jackets.

Door prizes will be drawn every hour throughout the day. Live music entertainment throughout the event including performances by students of the Boys & Girls Club, Heritage Christian Academy and Young Actors Studio.
