(ROYSE CITY, TX – May 18, 2018) The Royse City Chamber of Commerce welcomes the community to a celebration to document the progress of the Royse City Historic Calaboose Renovation.
Fortress Foundation is donating their services to level up the Old Jail on Friday, May 25. They will provide a barbeque lunch (courtesy of Hopper Bros BBQ & Bar, t-shirts, music by Colton O’Neill Band, and more to commemorate the occasion.
The START TIME has been changed to 11:30 am.
The Royse City Chamber has been fundraising and working with A&A Granite and Masonry to restore the Historic Calaboose, which are becoming few and far between in the U.S.

After the leveling process is complete, commemorative bricks will be placed around the entire perimeter of the jail.
