(ROCKWALL, TX — Friday, November 30) Rodeo Goat Ice House – a casual beer and burger joint – is now open at The Harbor in Rockwall on the Lake Ray Hubbard shoreline.  This is the fifth location for the concept from restaurateurs Shannon Wynne, Keith Schlabs and Larry Richardson who debuted Rodeo Goat in Ft. Worth in 2012 followed by outposts in Dallas, Houston and most recently in Plano at Heritage Creekside.

Rodeo Goat Ice House serves fresh grass-fed beef burgers ground in-house daily from Texas beef raised at 44 Farms in Cameron, TX.  A creatively crafted menu features over 20 signature burger selections including the popular Nanny Goat (herb goat cheese, bibb lettuce, beefsteak tomato, onion and garlic-herb mayo), The Telluride (green chiles, bibb lettuce, beefsteak tomato, onion, poblano goat cheese and green chile chutney) in addition to a handful of meaty tribute burgers named for local personalities.

Nods to Ray Hubbard and “Voice of the Cowboys” Brad Sham appear on the menu as well as vegetarian options including the Neil Young and Billy F. Gibbons.

The extensive drink menu offers domestic and imported brews with a large selection of  curated American and Texas craft beers, a list of hand-selected wines, and a quirky cocktail menu featuring signature concoctions such as the “Fainting Goat” crafted from Revolver Blood and Honey, vodka and orange juice and the “Moontang” with Firefly Moonshine, Tang and “other things”.

Rodeo Goat is located at 2095 Summer Lee Drive, Suite 105 at The Harbor in Rockwall.  For more information go to www.rodeogoat.com or call 469-769-4628.  Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday 11am-11pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-midnight.

Shannon Wynne, Keith Schlabs and Larry Richardson are the creators of numerous beer- and food-centric concepts throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and the Southeast including Meddlesome Moth, Mudhen Meat and Greens, Bird Café, Rodeo Goat, Flying Saucer Draught Emporium (14 locations in the Southeast) and Flying Fish (eight locations in the Southeast).
