Love God Greatly Event to Welcome Best-Selling Authors, Night of Worship

(ROCKWALL ,TX — Jan. 11, 2019) After the crazy busyness of the holidays, enjoy an evening of rest and rejuvenation with friends at the Resting In His Love event on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., hosted by the locally-based nonprofit Love God Greatly.

Come relish in an intimate night of encouragement with friends at the Hidden Creek Events Center (215 Chris Cuny Pkwy in Heath) through worship, a little shopping and powerful teachings from best-selling authors Angela Perritt, Chrystal Evans Hurst and Ruth Chou-Simons. Seating for the event is limited, and tickets include dinner and a book signing with all three authors.

Love God Greatly was founded by Perritt, a Heath resident, in 2010 with one goal in mind: to provide free Bible studies to women around the world who can’t afford them. Through a network of trained translators, LGG offers Bible studies in over 20 languages for download through its website – lovegodgreatly.com. The studies have reached more than 500,000 women in over 100 countries, meeting the need for building a strong community of women around the world through the study of God’s word in their own language.

“Love God Greatly is a sweet way to build community and support for one another. We’re striving to build community around God’s word for these women and giving them that support system that’s so needed,” Perritt said.

LGG published six to seven Bible studies a year, each available for download on the LGG website and for purchase on Amazon. All of the funds from the Bible study purchases go towards equipping and training the LGG ministry’s network of 50 translators, as they build strong communities centered around God’s word for women globally.

Volunteers and translators of LGG gather for a leadership training event at LGG Founder Angela Perritt’s home.

The nonprofit also offers leadership training programs for its volunteer translators to enrich their leadership skills as well as deepen their understanding of their value as women of God. Perritt recently held a leadership training event at her home in Heath, where she welcomed a group of LGG translators and volunteers from 16 countries.

“It’s exciting because the leadership training events help our volunteers to serve women here locally as well as women around the world,” Perritt said. “It helps them to spread that love and sense of community our ministry builds into their own countries.”
