(ROCKWALL, TX — January 15, 2019)The Rockwall Noon Rotary welcomed Richard Slutter and Stuart Smith as new members to the club during its meeting on Thursday, Jan. 10.

Slutter was introduced to the club by his good friend and fellow Rotarian Scott Self. Slutter and his family moved to Rockwall from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and he currently serves as the general manager of the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront at The Harbor. This is his second stint as a Rotarian, having been a member of the Rotary club in Wilmington, Delaware a number of years ago.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the Rockwall community and be a part of this organization,” Slutter said. “I think it’s great to be a part of such a wonderful property as the Rockwall Hillton and be such an engaged member of our community.”

Rotarian Tim Hartley introduced Stuart Smith as a new member of the club. Smith and his family have lived in Rockwall for four and half years, and he works as the co-owner/general manager of School of Rock in Rockwall. He’s also member of the Lake Pointe Church, as well as an avid cyclist.
