Rockwall police, DA to present ‘Keeping Kids Safe on the Internet’

(ROCKWALL, TX – Feb. 5, 2019) Rockwall County District Attorney Kenda Culpepper and the Rockwall Police Department will give a presentation on “Keeping Kids Safe on the Internet” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 12.  The Reinhardt Elementary School PTA will host the presentation at Virginia Reinhardt Elementary School, located at 101 South Clark Street in Rockwall.  (Please note that because of construction, Reinhardt ES is currently at the old Dobbs Elementary School location.)

Topics will include how to protect your child from internet predators and fraud, cyberbullying, and other related topics.  Presenters will also discuss some of the dangers inherent in the most popular youth apps, distribute free written information on various topics, and answer questions from the audience.

Any and all interested parents, grandparents, and community members are invited to attend this open meeting.  Children and their siblings will be entertained and supervised in the school gym by PTA volunteers and RPD Police Explorers during the presentation.
