Seniors 65+ to Enjoy Free Garland ISD Athletic Games, Arts Performances

(GARLAND, TX — August 8, 2019) Garland ISD, which includes the cities of Garland, Rowlett and Sachse, is excited to launch its enhanced senior citizen VIP pass.

Locals 65 and older can sign up to get a senior citizen VIP pass. This exclusive card grants free general admission to GISD-hosted athletics and fine arts events. By presenting this gold pass, cardholders can enjoy all in-district middle and high school regular season athletic events, as well as BandFest, theater musicals, GISD Children’s Chorus performances and much more. To get your Garland ISD senior citizen VIP card, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Bring a government-issued picture ID to the GISD Print Shop, located at 414 Stadium Dr. in Garland, between 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  2. Provide your contact information and get your picture taken
  3. Receive your VIP pass the same day

Use your pass to enjoy exciting athletic and fine art events hosted at district facilities. The VIP pass is good for general admission to all:

  • In-district middle and high school regular season athletic events (no playoffs)
  • Fine Arts performances such as BandFest, theater musicals, GISD Children’s Chorus performances and much more
