ESL Classes at First Baptist Church Rockwall Begin Sept. 10

(ROCKWALL, TX — September 6, 2019) Registration is open for the First Baptist Church of Rockwall’s English as a Second Language (ESL) program for adults in the Lake Ray Hubbard area.

Volunteers are eager to meet the ESL Students at registration on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 6:30 -8:30 P.M. at First Baptist Church, 610 S. Goliad (across from the U.S. Post Office).  Students may also enroll throughout the school year. Registration is $10, books $25, while classes are FREE. Enrollment is limited to 40 people on a first come, first served basis.

Adult students will learn language skills for English proficiency, helpful study skills, and skills beneficial for everyday life.  Instructors for the classes have been trained by the Literacy ConneXus program in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Lou Crouch, director, invites all people groups and religions to participate in this ESL program.  We are a Christ-centered group.
