(ROCKWALL, TX – Oct. 9, 2019) Rest Haven Funeral Home and Memorial Park will host a Veterans Breakfast honoring all local veterans and their spouses at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2500 E. Highway 66 in Rockwall.
This year, Rest Haven is honored to have C.B. Perdue speaking. C.B. Perdue is a World War II and Korean War veteran, former POW and USAF hero. He was w WWII B-17 gunner who was shot down over Germany in 1945. His story is one of bravery, courage, and patriotism. He has been featured on NBC Nightly News, CBS, and ABC sharing his incredible story.
Linda Flannery with the Rockwall County Veteran’s Affairs Office will also be there to answer any questions that veterans may have.
This year the delicious breakfast, catered by Soulman’s, will begin at 9:30 a.m.
