Young Adults Town Hall to discuss climate change

(ROCKWALL, TX – Oct. 31, 2019) Climate change will be among the topics of discussion at the upcoming Young Adults Town Hall set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18 at Ridgeview Church, 1362 East FM 552 in Rockwall . Climate change will be discussed from a variety of perspectives and within a number of contexts, such as sustainable infrastructure, environmental justice, and the environmental movement.

Students, graduates and young people are invited.

The Young Adults Town Hall Leadership, a nonpartisan group not sponsored by any political party or public official, is committed to bringing young people into their local community, involved in an active politics that goes beyond social media battlegrounds of Facebook and Twitter. They say, “Politics is bigger than that for us, and that’s why we think parties are boring. The discussions we have about the big issues of our time are nonpartisan, because we want to know the facts and what we can actually do about it.”
