Williams Middle School Robotics compete in first VEX competition of the year

Williams Middle School Robotics recently had two of their five teams compete at Cain Middle School in their first VEX competition of the year. Teams 1701E advanced to finals and finished in 7th place overall.

“Many of these students are doing robotics for the first time,” said Laura Shine, Robotics sponsor. “I am very proud of these students and all of the hard work they have put in this year.”

Team 1701 D (both 7th and 8th graders)

Ben Portillo-Thomas, Elias Jahner, Jack Dejano-Hurley, Ty Mazzuca, Jaemin Griswold, Timothy DiCapo, Tristan Slaton, Ryan Rodriguez, and Landon Costello

Team 1701 E (all 7th graders)

Landyn Parsley, Ebon Ramsey, Landon Riddle, Noah Harding, Cooper Geltner, and Xavier Pursell
