Rockwall High School’s Walk the Line nominated for CARA Awards

(ROCKWALL, TX) The Rockwall High School Walk the Line A cappella Show Choir was recently nominated for three Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA) Awards.

CARA is similar to the Grammy’s but for the contemporary a cappella industry.

“It’s very rare to ever receive a nomination, and this year we received three,” said Leia Browning, RHS choir director. “This has been such a fantastic and successful year for these kids. We made it onto 2 “best of” national compilation albums and these CARA nominations just made our year.”

Walk the Line is up for “Best Scholastic Debut Album” and “Best High School Album.” One of the arrangements on the album also received a nomination for “Best Scholastic Arrangement” – “The Way I Am” arranged by Tomas Padron from TCU.
