Official COVID-19 Update from the Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management (5/28/2020)

From the Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management (5/28/2020):

(ROCKWALL, TX – May 28, 2020) We received three additional confirmed cases of COVID from Texas DSHS. Two cases are in Rockwall, one case is in Royse City. One person is in their 20’s. One Person is in their 40’s. One Person is in their 50’s.

There are 178 confirmed cases, 12 confirmed deaths, 146 reported recoveries, 2271 conducted tests reported.

State Update:

Governor Abbott Announces Additional Services And Activities That Can Open Under Phase II- With this proclamation, water parks, recreational sport programs for adults, driver education programs, and food-court dining areas within shopping malls can begin operations with limited occupancy or regulations to protect the health and safety of Texans.
