The 13th Annual Rib, Rub, Run & Roll is coming to Downtown Rockwall. This year’s event will feature:
- 45 Team IBCA BBQ Competition
- 80 Vehicle Car Show
- 350+ Runners in the 5K/10K/1mile fun run
- All Day Live Music
- 500 Tickets to the Taste of Rib Rub featuring BBQ Sampling from Sideways BBQ, Smoke Sessions, and more
The best part of a BBQ Festival, is tasting BBQ! To ensure the opportunity to taste barbecue exists at Rib Rub the city has partnered with 4 fantastic local BBQ businesses to bring a sampling event to you that won’t be soon forgotten. We could not do this without participation from Sideways BBQ, Smoke Sessions BBQ, Legacy BBQ, and Smoak Town BBQ, so please show them your support if you’re hungry and looking for some great local BBQ to enjoy. Purchase your Taste of Rib Rub wristband and you’ll have access to the Tasting Zone where all 4 businesses will supply you with a sample of a core meat, a restaurant specific side, and a restaurant choice desert. Wristbands go on sale online September 1st and can be picked up at The Center (108 East Washington) starting September 27th. Below you will find the general guidelines on how this is going to work.
