(HEATH, TX — Jan. 18, 2017) Tyler Burden, a Rockwall-Heath High School Mighty Hawk Band member, earned a chair in the Texas All-State Band Saturday, Jan. 7.
Tyler will join Dawson Ward, another Mighty Hawk Band member who earned a chair in the TMEA All State Jazz Band earlier this year, and will attend the Texas Music Educators Association Clinic and Conference in San Antonio this February.
Both Tyler and Dawson will be featured along with the best high school musicians in the state in a series of All-State Concerts on February 11th at the San Antonio Convention Center.
