Our print edition is published 8x/year and direct mailed free to 15,500+ homes and businesses throughout Rockwall and Heath (75087 & 75032 zip codes).
Extra copies are usually available for pick up at the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, the JER Chilton YMCA, the Rockwall County Library, Samee’s Pizza Getti, Lakeside Florist, Joe Willy’s, The Hawk’s Nest, The Bagel Lady, Z’s Catfish, Tom Thumb-Heath, and various other local businesses. Meals on Wheels delivers copies to area homebound seniors along with their meals. Additional copies of the print edition may be available by calling 214-342-8000. Due to high demand, there is a $5 charge to cover postage when requesting copies by mail.

Blue Ribbon News Editor-in-Chief Dawn Redig has 35 years experience in print and broadcast journalism. She is a former Dallas Morning News editor, reporter and columnist. She has also worked for The Beaumont Enterprise, The Orange Leader, KBMT-TV Channel 12, Hall Publications/Nintendo/NFL Playoff, CBS Radio, and Lamar University/University Press.
Dawn serves on the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County and the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County. She is active in the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, where her husband served as 2018 Chairman of the Board. She is a charter member of the Rockwall Professional Women’s Alliance.

Austin is a native of Rockwall and graduated from Rockwall High School in 2007. He has worked for the Rockwall Herald Banner and CBS Radio. He is the author of Images of America: Heath, which captures the history of Heath, TX through vintage photos. He serves on the board of the Rockwall County Historical Foundation and is a member of Young Professionals of Rockwall. He has performed on stage with the Rockwall Community Playhouse.

Amy Sidebottom is our Lead Designer and Layout Editor whom we rely on for just about everything. You name it, she does it – from ad creation and copy writing to layout of our publication.

Max retired from the U.S. Army in 2009 as a Lieutenant Colonel, Senior Space Operations Officer and Master Aviator. He amassed over 3,200 hours as a pilot of Special Electronic Mission Airplanes.
