(ROCKWALL, TX — August 16, 2017) Rockwall LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) will hold its August monthly meeting at 7:00 PM, Monday, August 28, 2017. This month’s guest speaker is Rockwall County Sheriff Harold Eavenson. Mr. Eavenson has been Rockwall County Sheriff since 2001. This last June, Eavenson became president of the National Sheriffs’ Association and is co-chair of its immigration committee. The Dallas Morning News recently reported that Eavenson’s positions have placed him “in the middle of the country’s immigration debate.”
