New children’s music studio to open in Rockwall

(ROCKWALL, TX – Feb. 24, 2016) Local music instructor Danielle Yonchak will open up her new music studio, Joyful Melodies Music Studio, at 811 E. Yellow Jacket Ln, Suite 107. Scheduled to open March 14, the studio will offer lessons to children ages newborn to 6, a unique element which makes it stand out among other music education institutions.

According to Yonchak – a licensed Kindermusik educator and elementary teacher bringing valuable experience tapping into the different developmental stages and learning styles of children – teaching music to a child at such a young age allows the best way to stimulate the child’s brain development and learning.

“Children this age are at a crucial time in their life, because it is at this time that the most learning and brain development occurs,” Yonak said. “Music has been proven to be the best way to stimulate brain development in children, to give them the strongest foundations to grow and thrive.”

To celebrate the grand opening of the new studio, Joyful Melodies will offer an exclusive Rock & Roar, single-class Kindermusik experience for families and children ages 0-5 centered around Disney Junior’s new hit television series, The Lion Guard. They’ll explore the African savannahs in a rip-roaring, fast-moving adventure, all set to the thunderous beats of some of your favorite Kindermusik tunes and music from Disney’s The Lion Guard. Folks can experience Rock & Roar at several different times throughout the week of March 21, and registration is free! The first 50 children registered will receive a Kion the lion mask and tattoos.

Joyful Melodies offers two different music programs: Kindermusik and KinderBach. Kindermusik brings children and their parents together with other families for 45 minutes of musical fun that involves activities such as singing, dancing, instrument play and story time. KinderBach introduces children ages 3-6 beginning music skills and piano.

Through these music programs, children have the opportunity to explore language, literacy, motor skills, emotional and social skills – and of course, musical skills. During music classes offered by Joyful Melodies, children learn in a caring, loving and safe environment that will help them blossom with confidence and grow in leaps and bounds.
