(ROCKWALL, TX — March 22, 2016) The Amy Parks Heath Elementary Robo Rascals Robotics team qualified for the Vex IQ Worlds competition by placing in the top 30 robotics squads from around the world with their programming and skills scores. Thanks to fantastic teamwork and the help from some great mentors and coaches, the first-year team will travel to Kentucky in April to compete against the best teams from all over the world.
The 2016 VEX Worlds, presented by the Northrop Grumman Foundation, brings together top robotics teams in the VEX IQ Challenge, VEX Robotics Competition, and VEX U to celebrate their accomplishments and participate with the best teams worldwide. VEX Worlds include top teams from events happening in cities around the world from June 2015 to March 2016.
