Dallas Police Association endorses Holland in runoff election

(DALLAS, TX – March 24, 2016) The Dallas Police Association (DPA) today announced their endorsement of conservative businessman Justin Holland in the Republican primary runoff for Texas House, District 33. Due to the importance of public safety, the DPA endorsement is one of the most sought-after endorsements in Texas. Founded in 1959, the Dallas Police Association is the oldest, largest, and most diverse police employee organization in North Texas.

The Rockwall Police Officers Association and the Heath Police and Fire Association also have endorsed Holland in the GOP primary.

“We carefully vetted the Republicans in the runoff for HD33 and strongly believe that Justin Holland is the only candidate who will promote the policies needed to help law enforcement protect the families, schools and businesses of Texas,” said Ron Pinkston, DPA president. “From his zero tolerance stance on illegal immigration to his support for tougher sentencing for violent offenders especially those who target our children, Justin is the no-nonsense crime fighter we need in the Texas House.”
