(ROCKWALL, TX — March 18, 2016) Springer Elementary teachers received a grant titled “MinecraftEdu: Virtual World Meets Reality” for students to connect past and present world civilizations while creating a virtual civilization through Minecraft specifically designed for classroom instruction. Sixth grade students will initiate the process and then mentor lower grade levels, impacting the entire campus and inviting experts in engineering, architecture, and video game design to simulate what professionals do when creating plans for a living environment.
