Locals enjoy tons of Easter fun at Heart of Heath event

(HEATH, TX — March 26, 2016) The City of Heath’s 2016 Heart of Heath 5K event sponsored by Lakeside Chevrolet drew a large crowd on Easter Saturday, March 26, as locals enjoyed a host of fun activities at Towne Center Park behind Heath City Hall (200 Laurence Dr). This year families had the opportunity to participate in a 1-mile Fun Run as well as the traditional 5K. Smoothie King and Juice It Up were on hand to help fuel runners prior to the race with mini-fruit smoothies and juice samples. Giant-sized chess, checker, Jenga and Connect 4, and a visit from the Easter Bunny added to the excitement for all the kiddos.
