(ROWLETT, TX — June 14, 2016) Friends and neighbors are invited for “Fireworks on Main” located at 5300 Main Street in Rowlett on Monday, July 4, from 6 – 10 p.m. to celebrate freedom with live music, festival-style foods, children’s activities and the largest fireworks display in Rowlett! There is no admission charge for entry to this hometown celebration.
Fireworks on Main Schedule:
• “Mars Hill Band” performance @ 6:00 p.m.
• “Exile” @ 8:00 p.m.
Food and Fun
• Festival Food including : Brisket sandwiches, snow cones, nachos, tacos, hot dogs, root beer, and much more!
• Kid’s area including – Bounce Houses, face painting, Game Truck and more! The Children’s Area will close at 9:00 p.m. to prepare for Fireworks.
• Rowlett’s largest fireworks show @ 9:45 p.m.
Free admission and parking. All events will be held at Pecan Grove Park (behind Wet Zone Waterpark), located at 5300 Main Street. Parking will be available at Rowlett High School, Herfurth Park, Coyle Middle School and the DART station. Shuttle transportation will also be available with pickup locations at Coyle Middle School, Herfurth Park, and the DART station.
Handicap accessible parking will be located on site adjacent to the event and activities.
