(ROCKWALL, TX — June 13, 2016) The Rockwall County Library invites residents to “Exercise Your Mind. Read!” with its better-than-ever Adult Summer Reading.
Participants can complete five items (books, audios, videos) per reading entry: Run or Walk for 15 Minutes, Read a book, Watch a Video, Listen to a Book, Practice Yoga for 15 Minutes, Weight Train for 15 Minutes, and Play a Sport for 15 Minutes. For the first time, exercise for 15 minutes will count as an item.
An introductory gift will be rewarded to all who turn in an entry. Each completed entry gives another chance at one of the bigger prizes. Prizes this year include golf packages, rodeo packages, spa and salon packages, restaurant gift cards or a Fitbit.
Entering is easy! Just ask for an entry form at one of Rockwall County Library’s service desks. A Rockwall County Library card number is required to participate. Entries will be accepted from June 6 – August 6, 2016.
In July, there will be three exciting adult programs you can participate in:
Saturday, July 9@ 10:30 AM. Creative Crafting with Wine Bottles. Registration begins June 20.
Thursday, July 21 @ 6:30-7:15. Mat Pilates with Brenda. Registration begins July 1.
Tuesday, July 26 @6:30-7:15PM. Restorative Yoga With Twyla. Registration begins July 11.
All programs are free. Registration is required. Call 972-204-7700 to register for an adult program.
