Friends of the Library welcomes former Secret Service agent Sept. 13

(ROCKWALL, TX — Aug. 9, 2016) Rockwall Friends of the Library September meeting will be Tuesday, Sep. 13, 11:00am at the Rockwall County Library Community Room.  The program will be “Remembering 9-11 Through the Eyes of a Survivor” by Samantha Horwitz, former U.S. Secret Service agent, author, wife, mother and founder of Heroes 4 Healing, an outreach program Sam founded in Mesquite to help first responders and military veterans who suffer from PTSD. Sam is a graduate of the University of Maryland and Howard University School of Law. Her book “Courage Above All” is expected to be available for sale at the meeting. Proceeds from the book will help support Heroes 4 Healing. An optional luncheon will be served by Zach for $20. Non refundable reservations must be made to cplagens65@aol.com by 5:00PM Tuesday, Sep. 6.
