(ROCKWALL, TX — Feb. 9, 2017) The Yellowjacket wrestlers traveled to Highland Park Thursday night to close out their dual season. The Jackets won 11 out of 14 varsity matches for a final dual score of Rockwall 56 vs. Highland Park 18. Rockwall’s Junior Varsity team had nine contested matches, winning eight of them, including seven by fall.
The Junior Varsity wrestlers held their annual Junior Varsity Jacket Classic Invitational last Saturday, Feb. 4. The next varsity competition will be the District 7-6A Wrestling Championships at Richardson Berkner High School Saturday, February 11th. Both the boys and girls varsity squads will compete as well as the final tournament of the year for our junior varsity wrestlers.
