Rockwall Summer Musicals presents Fiddler on the Roof June 23 – July 2

(ROCKWALL, TX — June 1, 2017) As part of its 2017 season, Rockwall Summer Musicals will present Fiddler on the Roof June 23 – July 2, 2017 at the Rockwall Performing Arts Center (1201 T L Townsend Drive, Rockwall, TX 75087). Tickets cost between $18-$22 and can be purchased at the Box Office or online at rockwallsummermusicals.org. This is the first show of the 2017 season, to be followed by Peter Pan August 11-20, 2017. For the second consecutive year, Rockwall Summer Musicals will run its summer shows for two weekends instead of one.

Set in the little village of Anatevka, Tevye tries to teach his daughters cultural traditions in the face of growing anti-Semitism in Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof has touched audiences with its humor, warmth, and honesty since debuting on Broadway in 1964. Fan-favorite songs include: “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Where a Rich Man,” “Matchmaker,” and “Tradition.” Alidor Lafere stars at Tevye in the Rockwall Summer Musicals production directed by Paula Morelan.
