(ROCKWALL, TX — September 28, 2017) Rowdy, the Dallas Cowboys mascot, visited Jones to promote good behavior and respect. The Jones PTA sponsored the pep rally and every grade was able to participate.
Throughout the pep rally, Rowdy and his pal discussed how students can respect each other. There was an anti-bullying message that talked about how to make good decisions when interacting with others. There was also trivia to get students thinking about what choices they should make when faced with a tough decision that might hurt someone’s feelings. The pep rally ended with an anti-bullying pledge.
Starting the school year with kindness is important to the Jones community, and the PTA did a fabulous job arranging this experience for the students!
