(ROCKWALL, TX — October 3, 2017) Rockwall Old Town Shoppes is launching its second annual Shop Small Saturday Donut Stroll on Saturday, Nov. 25. The Donut Stroll is free to the public. It is an opportunity to stroll, savor, and shop the downtown stores. Many are running door buster deals that day only. Stores open at 8 a.m.
American Express launched the Shop Small program in 2010 to promote the philosophy of shopping small boutique stores, and small mom and pop owned businesses during the holiday season. The program has grown each year nationally. Many small downtown areas act as Neighborhood Champions, like Rockwall Old Town Shoppes in downtown Rockwall. They have created a variety of events to promote and foster the Shop Small concept.
