Amy Parks-Heath celebrates end of first term with Mariner Achievement Rally

(HEATH, TX — November 9, 2017) The entire student body at Amy Parks-Heath Elementary gathered in the gym on Oct. 31 for the Mariner Achievement Rally to celebrate the end of the first term and to cheer for each other’s successes. Students sang the school song, recited pledges, received awards, participated in a Monster Mash flash dance, and then they got to slime the principals and pie the teachers!

At the rally, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Patterson introduced the “Principal’s Excellence Award” that is a new award this year. Each term, they will chose two students from each grade that demonstrate APHE’s strong Mariner Values. For the first term, APHE recognized students for responsibility and teamwork, the words of the month for September and October.
