(ROCKWALL, TX — January 29, 2018) On Jan. 26, Rep. John Ratcliffe recognized Rockwall High School student Kevin Smith on his appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. Smith, a senior at RHS, is the first student from Texas’ 4th Congressional to receive and accept an appointment to any academy for the 2018-2019 school year.
“I’d like to congratulate Kevin for being appointed to attend the U.S. Naval Academy – an accomplishment that makes the entire 4th District of Texas proud. His decision to serve our nation is truly inspiring, and I wish him the best of luck in this exciting endeavor,” Ratcliffe said.
