(ROCKWALL, TX — March 22, 2018) The Rockwall Noon Rotary recognized Sharon Shannon Elementary 6th grader Mayliegh Byrd as the Rotary Student of Honor. Rotarian David Sweet and Shannon Elementary Principal Steven Pesek presented Byrd with the award at the Noon Rotary’s meeting on Thursday, March 22.
“Mayliegh Byrd has worked so hard this year, before, during and after school. She’s an awesome girl, loves her classmates, and loves to help everybody,” Pesek said.
