(ROCKWALL, TX — May 7, 2018) The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will hold a public meeting this week on proposed improvements to SH 276 from FM 549 in Rockwall County to CR 2472 in Hunt County. The public meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 10, at the Utley Middle School Cafeteria, located at 1201 T.L. Townsend Drive, Rockwall, Texas 75087.
The meeting will have an open house format with no formal presentation. Representatives from TxDOT and project consultants will be available to answer questions about the proposed improvements.
The proposed project would widen 7.4 miles of SH 276 from a two-lane rural highway to a four-lane urban highway. Maps showing the proposed project’s location and geometric design will be available for viewing at the public meeting.
