(ROCKWALL, TX — November 12, 2018) The Rockwall Noon Rotary recognized Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary 6th grader Riyan Brown as the Rotary Student of Honor last week. Rotarian and County Judge David Sweet and Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary Principal Dr. Mary Pugh presented Brown the award.
Brown is a member of the school band and is currently learning percussion. His favorite sport is football, and his mom, Gabby Brown, works as the librarian at Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary.
“We’re so proud to celebrate what a hard worker Riyan is and how kind he is. He’s always willing to help others and is a really good friend,” Pugh said.
