Rockwall Girls, Heath Boys Swim Crowned District 9 Champs

(ROCKWALL, TX — January 21, 2019) Rockwall Girls and Heath Boys swim teams took home the District 9 title at the district swim meet this past weekend! “The Athlete Of The Meet” was awarded to Rebecca Simpson, Rockwall, and Lucius Yu-Kisselbach, Heath. Coach Sacco was elected the “Coach of the Meet.”

Highlights of the meet:
*Rockwall Girls won all three relays (200IM, 200 free and 400 free) while Heath Girls came second.
*Heath Boys won the 200 and 400 free relays while Rockwall Boys won the 200IM.
*Heath Boys swept the top three spots for the 200 free and 100 back.

Darby Ratcliffe and Josey Forres were first and second respectively in the Girls 1 Meter Diving.

Both teams are looking forward to compete again for regionals in Mansfield in two weeks (Feb. 1-2).
