Lone Star CASA Welcomes New Volunteers

(ROCKWALL, TX — July 29, 2019) Eight new child advocates for Lone Star CASA were sworn in by Judge Brett Hall on July 26.  Pictured from left to right are: Ann Pittsinger, Rob Sutton, Linda Wells, Denise Hart, Judge Brett Hall, Lynn Watters, Pam LeTourneau, Suzanne Nolen, and Kacy Riley.

Lone Star CASA (Court appointed Special Advocate) trains volunteers to advocate for children in foster care in Kaufman and Rockwall counties.  Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age, pass background checks and be able to make a year commitment to a child.  For more information on becoming a CASA volunteer, visit  www.lonestarcasa.org.
