The Amy Parks Mariners set out to spread joy and kindness throughout their school and community during the month of December. Students were spotted all month long engaging in acts of kindness!
Each time a student was caught showing kindness, they were recognized by getting to choose an ornament to hang on their campus Kindness Tree. Also, students and staff on campus were asked to share what brings them joy through an interactive bulletin board, displayed for everyone to see, in hopes of spreading joy to one another.
Each grade level also adopted a family to support during the holiday season to spread joy within the community. The Mariners and their families partnered together to bring in items that these families needed to help make their holiday wishes come true.
