The Rockwall Rotary recognized Utley Middle School sixth grader Lucy Rice as its Student of Honor this week.
Utley Middle Principal Dane Steinberger presented Lucy with the honors. He read compliments about her from her teachers, who praised her as a hard worker and helpful tutor to her classmates. They also describe her as kind and thoughtful, always willing to help others in their time of need.
When asked what her favorite subject is, Lucy picked math because “there’s only one right answer.”
