Clayton has been blessed to pursue multi-sports. He played ice hockey for the Rockwall/Richardson Raiders 2016-17 and baseball for the Rockwall Jackets 2016-20. With his strength of mental toughness combined with his fierce craft of pitching, Clayton developed his role of the closing pitcher for the Jacket Varsity 2018-20 teams. One of the gifts the “closer” role has given him for life is the ability to work well under pressure. Clayton intends to take this characteristic he has honed on the field and apply it to his dream of pursuing a career in medicine.

He leaves his senior year with no regrets because he knows he pursued every opportunity to its fullest, faced adversity with determination, and remained true to himself and his beliefs.

“And when you discover what it is you will do with your life, don’t just set out to do a good job.  Set out to do such a good job that the living, the dead, or the unborn couldn’t do it any better.” — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
