Senior Spotlight: Mitchell Smith, Heritage Christian Academy

Mitchell has been at Heritage Christian Academy for 14 years since K4. During his time at HCA he has had the enjoyed being able to participate in all levels of HCA athletics including Baseball, Track, Basketball and Football. He is a member of the National Honors Society and has served as a class officer for several years.

Mitchell’s true passion since the age of 7 has been Taekwondo. He had the privilege during his high school years to be selected as a member of the United TKD Alliance Team USA. He and his team traveled to Scotland to compete internationally and proudly brought home several Gold medals. His love and training continues in TKD, and he will be testing in May for his third degree black belt.

Mitchell plans to attend Texas Tech University this fall where he will pursue his degree in Business, with a minor in sports medicine/chiropractics.
