Blue Ribbon News Senior Spotlight: Savannah Russell, Royse City High School

(ROYSE CITY, TX — May 11, 2020) Savannah Russell is a senior at Royse City High School where she is involved in band, FFA, golf and occasionally participates in theatre. Savannah shows amazing leadership skills as a band section leader and FFA Vice President.

Savannah plans to graduate high school with her Associates Degree through Paris Junior College. She has many accomplishments throughout her senior year. She has been nominated and selected for RCHS 2020 Top Dog, qualified for Band UIL State Solo and Ensemble and chosen by one of her teachers for the Beacon Award.

Savannah has been accepted at Tarleton State University where she plans to major in Animal Science Pre-Vet Medicine. Savannah has always had a special place in her heart for animals since she was little. She plans to pursue a career as a Zoological Vet.
