ROCKWALL, TX – August 26, 2020 — Rockwall County Clerk Shelli Miller recognized her hardworking staff during the Commissioners Court meeting Tuesday.
Miller praised each of her staff members for going above and beyond in their duties during the COVID-19 pandemic. She noted that their efforts were especially instrumental in having to adjust to the social distancing measures, while still providing exceptional service to the public.
“You all are amazing in everything you do,” Miller said. “You run my office like a well-oiled machine, and I am so very appreciative of that. I get compliments and kudos all the time from people around the community that have to come in for services. I even get old-school thank you notes sometimes on the great work you all do.”
Miller also recognized her Chief Deputy, Jennifer Fogg, with an honorary Shining Star award for her outstanding leadership in inspiring excellence in the Clerk’s Office. County Judge David Sweet echoed Miller’s sentiments about Fogg’s excellent work ethic and leadership for the County Clerk’s Office.
“You have an impeccable reputation as the go-to person for that department,” Sweet said. “It’s very cool that Shelli took the time to recognize you along with your peers, so congratulations. I’m proud of the fact that you work for Rockwall County and the great job that you do.”
